In the process of flame cutting or plasma cutting, we will often meet the thermal deformation of CNC cutting machine.   1. Before Cutting the Workpiece:

  1. Steel Plate Surface Treatment:

Generally, the steel plate from the steel plant after a series of intermediate links transported to the cutting workshop, the surface of the steel plate will inevitably produce the oxide coating. Also the steel plate will produce a layer of oxide coating attached to the surface of the plate during the rolling process. These oxide coatings have high melting point and not easy to burn and dissolve, which not only increases the preheating time, but also reduces the cutting speed. And the splashing of heated oxide coatings is very easy to plug the cutting nozzle of CNC cutting machine, thereby reducing the service life of the cutting nozzle. Thus, be sure to do the derusting pretreatment of the steel surface before cutting.

  1. Controlling of thermal deformation:

In the practical CNC cutting process, due to the uneven heating and cooling of steel plate, the internal stress of the will make the workpiece to be cut in different degrees of bending or shift displayed shape distortions and cutting size deviation. Since the internal material stress can not be balanced and completely eliminated, we can only take some measures to try to reduce the thermal deformation.
